House System
The house system is an integral and vibrant part of the school’s culture which gives rise to healthy competition. Thereby, empowering the students intellectually and emotionally making them lifelong learners.
The House system aims to give students an identity and sense of pride in a supportive, secure environment. The House provides a good platform for the holistic development of students. The Houses compete in several sporting, scholastic and co-scholastic activities organised in-house.
Thus, to inspire a healthy sense of competition, students of St. Peter’s Convent School have been allocated one of the four houses. Students develop a sense of belonging and a feeling of unity in being a part of a specific house.
The four Houses are named SAPPHIRE- Blue House, EMERALD- Green House, RUBY- Red House and TOPAZ- Yellow House.
- SAPPHIRE HOUSE
Sapphire symbolises honesty, purity and trust. Students of this house possess an immense intellectual vitality. They are committed to their goals and are all-rounders and achievers.
- EMERALD HOUSE
Emerald is known for its rich green variations and is associated with love and fertility. The students of Emerald House are always ready, rearing to go on and achieve always while keeping in mind their goals.
3. RUBY HOUSE
Ruby is the symbol of courage, sacrifice, love, victory and honour.
Students of Ruby House stand strong and united at all times. They are creative and highly talented and this is the secret of their success.
- TOPAZ HOUSE
Meanings behind Topaz include magnification, clarity and manifestation.
Yellow is the colour of the Sun, the students of Topaz House shines with the qualities of perseverance and are the shining example to the students of the school.
