Teacher’s Day 2022

In India the birthday of the second president Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, 5 September, is celebrated as Teachers' Day since 1962, apart from it, Guru Purnima has been traditionally observed as a day to worship teachers/gurus by Hindus.

Ever since then, September 5 is celebrated as Teacher's Day across schools, colleges, universities and educational institutions. Students put on performances, dances and host elaborate shows for their most-loved teachers.
