ART FEST (2023-24)

No artist is ahead of his time. He is his time, it’s just that others are behind the times.

St. Peter’s Convent School organized an ‘Art Fest’ on 31/8/2023 & 1/9/2023 at school level, where in all the classes were involved and students had immense fun showcasing their creative side. The students of different grades were divided into four categories as per their classes. Each category had a variety of tasks like Spell Bee, folk dance, handwriting, standup comedy, to name a few. The students performed individually and in groups as well exhibiting confidence and great team spirit.

SOLO PERFORMANCES

CATEGORY 1: CLASSES I-II, TASKS: SPELL BEE, STORY ENACTING, and VISION & MISSION.

CATEGORY 2: CLASSES III-IV, TASKS: FOLK DANCE, SPEECH
(ROLE OF FAMILY VALUES IN CHILDHOOD), HANDWRITING, POEM ENACTING.

CATEGORY 3: CLASSES V-VII, TASKS: FOLK SONG, SPEECH (PROS-CONS OF NEP 2020), HIP-HOP, INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC, CASIO, GUITAR, STANDUP COMEDY, POEM WRITING.

CATEGORY 4: CLASSES VIII-X, TASKS: ANCHORING, DIGITAL DRAWING, POWERPOINT PRESENTATION (CULTUTRE & HERITAGE OF MANIPUR), CLASSICAL DANCE, CALIGRAPHY, EXTEMPORE, SHORT FILM-CRITICS, INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC-JAZZ& DRUMMING, GUITAR.

GROUP PERFORMANCES

CATEGORY 1: CLASSES I-II, TASKS: ACTION SONG.

CATEGORY 2: CLASSES III-IV, TASKS: NATIONAL ANTHEM.

CATEGORY 3: CLASSES V-VII, TASKS: INSPIRATINAL SONG, THEMATIC DANCE, SHORT DRAMA, RANGOLI.

CATEGORY 4: CLASSES VIII-X, TASKS: WESTERN MUSIC, PATRIOTIC GROUP SONG, FOLK DANCE, NUKKAD NATAK.
